Water Permits

On November 16, 1990, EPA promulgated regulations the require National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits be obtained for stormwater discharges associated with industrial activities and from large municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s). There are three types of permits available to industrial facilities: Group, General, and Individual. Each type of permit has its advantages and disadvantages. Payne Environmental Services can provide guidance to facility owner/operators discharging stormwater associated with industrial activities on how to comply with the permit application requirements. The owner/operator will be consulted to determine the appropriate permit application (or modification of an existing permit) the best reflects the site/facility conditions and operations.

From identifying and mapping stormwater discharge outfalls to field sampling for chemical analysis discharges, Payne Environmental Services can provide the level of service you need for permit application or permit renewal.
